Arrive Auckland. Transfer to hotel at Auckland. Overnight at hotel.
A Great Sights vehicle will pick you up from your accommodation for your transfer to the Sky City Coach Terminal, 102 Hobson Street, Auckland, the departure point of your tour. At 2:30pm join your coach to commence a half day tour introducing you to the sights of Auckland. Travel through the city centre, past iconic Karangahape Road and the stylish suburb of Ponsonby, and over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline. Visit the Viaduct Harbour, home to America's Cup racing for many years, and the central city's main road Queen Street, before continuing to the Auckland Domain. Developed around an extinct volcano, the Domain features 75 hectares of open spaces, tropical gardens, duck ponds and public art, and is home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. The tour continues to historic Parnell Village, where you can explore this boutique shopping area during an afternoon tea stop. Next, travel the stunning waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park, above Mission Bay. Named after one of New Zealand's greatest and most popular Prime Ministers, the park, with its formal gardens and tranquil atmosphere, offers a panoramic outlook over the picturesque Eastern Bays, Auckland city and the Waitemata Harbour. Tour concludes at approximately 5:30pm, at which time accommodation drop offs will commence.
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Christchurch. Arrive Christchurch and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
A Canterbury Leisure Tours vehicle will pick you up from your hotel for your transfer to the departure point of your tour. At 9.00am join your coach to commence a half day Discover Christchurch - Morning Tour. The trip begins by covering the central city highlights including the botanical gardens, Museum and Art Centre, the Avon River, Bridge of Remembrance, the city's new pop up container mall and many other CBD highlights. Please note that the tour of the CBD can change daily due to road closures and new areas re-opening. On leaving the inner city, the tour travels to Mona Vale and historic homestead and gardens. Up to the Sign of the Taka he, an historic building providing spectacular views over the city, Canterbury Plains and the Southern Alps, then over the Port Hills to the Port of Littleton, through the harbor tunnel to the seaside suburb of Sumner and cave rock before returning to the central city. Tour concludes at approximately 12.00pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
Breakfast at hotel. Travel across the Canterbury Plains to reach Mount Cook around lunchtime. A rare opportunity here to take an optional scenic flight for an overview of Mount Cook’s ice falls, snow fields and glaciers. Your journey continues over the Lindys Pass and through the Kawarau Gorge to Queenstown.
Breakfast at hotel. A Real Journeys vehicle will pick you up from your Queenstown hotel for your transfer to the Real Journeys Visitor Centre, Steamer Wharf, Queenstown, the departure point of your tour. At 6.55are (7.15am 1 November - 30 April) join your coach to commence a full day Milford Sound Day Excursion. Depart Queenstown and travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu through rolling countryside to Te Anau. Continue along the spectacular Milford Road through impressive alpine scenery. Upon arrival at Milford Sound board the Real Journeys vessel for a leisurely nature cruise the full length of the fiord out to the Tasman Sea. View spectacular alpine scenery including waterfalls, rainforest and towering peaks and keep a look out for wildlife including seals, dolphins and penguins. Following the cruise, clients are returned to Queenstown by luxury coach. Tour concludes at approximately 7.45pm (8.00pm 1 November - 30 April), at which time hotel drop offs will commence.

Depart this morning through the Kawarau Gorge to Cromwell, following the Clutha River down through Alexander via the rich farmlands of South Otego to Dunedin – the “Edinburgh of the South”. During the afternoon you will head north to Morikis to view the unique outdoor beach boulders. Continue via O’Mara and Tamara, across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.
